LSM Analytical services and REACh teams working together
LSM Analytical services was born from the service provided to the many specialised manufacturing processes operated by LSM. In return LSM Analytical services has now developed a recognised methodology to greatly assist the development of the technical dossiers needed for the many substance registrations legally required for REACh. LSM has an in depth programme to register all its substances over the extensive life span of the REACh registration process.
Dr Belen Morales, Sales Development Manager says: "The expertise developed within both the LSM REACh and Analytical services teams has resulted in our ability to provide not just the analysis required for REACh registrations, but also to assist in preparing some key parts of the detailed submissions required. We have now gained experience for many substances in a number of industry sectors."
LSM Analytical services opens its doors
Following its major repositioning as the fastest growing analytical services solutions provider, and to celebrate 30 years of successfully operating this external service, LSM decided to hold an open day for a range of customers from different market sectors and locations.
LSM Analytical Services Sales team says: "A key part of any business is to keep its customers happy and the day was organised to be as informative as possible with a series of presentations by LSM personnel on the analytical services provided. Practical demonstrations of several of the analytical techniques were provided by our experienced
team of analysts, and were unanimously well received. To "keep the family together" we will be holding similar events in future and would encourage anyone interested to contact us for details."
Further expansion of LSM analytical services in ion chromatography and carbon and sulphur analysis
LSM continued its aggressive programme of investment in state of the art technology with its recent purchase of new equipment for ion chromatography and carbon and sulphur analysis.
Andy Sims, LSM Works Manager says: “Investment in new equipment is an essential part of the philosophy of the laboratory management team. The recent investments reflect the expanding nature of the laboratory. Ion chromatography allows us to provide better service to a number of industry sectors, including electronics, where the RoHS legislation has demanded a clear understanding of the levels present of certain undesirable substances. The investment in carbon and sulphur analysis is to increase the laboratorys capacity due to the increasing requirements being realised from the laboratorys successful marketing strategy.”
